Brilliant. You are absolutely right in calling out the Republican Party. They are not interested in Democracy but only in winning. I would be interested to see you write a strategy for the Democrats that would counter this. As I've often said you can't bring a knife to a gun fight.

So much of our current electoral process and judicial system needs an overhaul. If we get the Senate there should be no delay in implementing this. I will say the Judicial Branch has held so far. No matter it is fragile and a bi-partisan panel put together to examine changes to the Supreme Court should be implemented immediately.

We cannot have an unelected political body like the Supreme Court, which represents the minority of people in the US, deciding elections or making laws. The same can be said for the Senate.

Something is grievously wrong and it is hypocritical to continue to call ourselves a democratic republic. What we have is a political system called minoritarianism. Also our attempts to spread democracy around the world should be referred to as corporate colonialism.
