This sentence would exactly describe the first book in my five part series. The Musks and Besoses build underground technocratic cities where only the technologically and scientifically educated are allowed to live. And of course revolutionaries exist amongst them who are what you would call anarchist democrats...or I might call social democrats.

By mid-century, fusion or solar energy beamed from space will allow for carbon to be pulled from the atmosphere and compressed deep underground or turned into a useful product. Climate management will be the order of the day, powered by artificial intelligence and robotics, probably new forms of green chemistry too.

Second, third and fourth books in my five part series. However we do get a little help from our extra and inter dimensional friends who are currently flying around observing us. They give us the technology we need for much of what you describe (Dyson sphere) on the condition we give up our nuclear weapons but they don't engage socially with us - we are far too primitive.

In addition we learn from them that our universe is a simulated holograph, the blueprint for which is a massive black hole. The question posed by them is for what purpose if any does any of this exist and who or what started it all. Oh of course I bring in parallel worlds and multiverses as well.
