I am just about to have published a five book science fiction series with a similar, but immensely more positive theme. Consider that we are not alone in the universe. Consider that battles of this kind are much larger and are part of the fabric of the particular multiverse we find ourselves part of.

Consider just like a game, there are rules and objectives and different ways to “win” in life. The game setting (hologram) is your environment, and the playing piece is you (consciousness). Also like a game, winning at life is not about a single roll of the die or draw of the card. It's a cumulative learning process through many manifestations of conscious life, with ups and downs. There is a bigger game at play here. How much of it is holographic and being projected from the surface of a black hole we just don't know yet. How much is Maya?

My book is full of real revolutionaries who stand against capitalism - it is full of genetic modification (a way forward for us), bio-engineering, quantum mechanics, zero point energy, a mysterious Galactic Federation and a ninth planet.

All of this allows me as a fiction writer and futurist to imagine the positives and negatives for our planet going forward. It also allows me to imagine the intent of all the UFOs and non human intelligences that we already know are visiting us here, and have been for thousands of year (aka evidenced in most of our religious and ancient texts).
