Even the current efforts in Louisiana to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public schools may not necessarily violate the First Amendment. Like the phrase “In God We Trust,” the Ten Commandments are not unique to one specific religion or church.
This argument opens the door to putting religious quotes and directives from WiCCA, the Quran and every other religious ideology up there as well!
