Excellent and passionate. Thank you. I am also a climate change activist, and a social democrat who believes the economic system we all follow is our version of embracing the cosmic death star.

I am also a big science and physics researcher since I write science fiction. This leads me to read various pieces on medium which are exciting and futuristic in nature.

While it’s fun and positive to think about exploring and visiting other planets, I believe our species needs to confine itself to Earth at the present time. Your article has expressed exactly why I have no desire to preserve the legacy of a biological, planetary species that has clearly shown it’s incapable of taking care of it’s most vulnerable populations-children.

In my books we’re quarantined and restricted to our own solar system, because many of us have a virus which causes insatiable greed and exclusively promotes self interest.

My dearest hope therefore is not that we make our way into space, but that there is a biological species out there which has found a way of being in our third dimensional reality, whatever quanta determines it might be, that is far further along the chain of cosmic planetary development than we are!
