Global politics are complicated, so are all politics and economics in a neo liberal globalist capitalist system most of the world inhabits. Biden is doing a far better job than most could or would. His comments on Putin were justified and he merely said what had to be said and what we are all thinking.

A shared mythology both here and abroad has always held nation states like America and Russia together. These countries don't work unless everyone agrees on the fiction our leaders create and sell us.

The underside of the US story is that there has never been democracy here, nor have our intentions ever been to spread it abroad. To think so is completely naive. The founders of our Republic never meant equality for us or for anyone else in the world. The equality they talked about was only for rich men to make a profit and stay in power, and was certainly not intended to benefit the poor, slaves, women, or children.

America is still a corrupt theocratic Republic (ergo the Supreme Court) and Russia is a corrupt plutocracy. Where the battle between them ends who knows.

The whole world is and always has been a pawn to the rich men who are in complete control of nation states. We all fall victim to them to one degree or another.
