Great article. I am a science fiction writer and I'm thinking about how we survive this. I'm writing the five book space opera that describes it. First book the Burning Years describes exactly what you talk about - everyone's living underground. It just went out of print because my publisher sold his press! However I'm about to serialize it next year on Medium, after I get a contract for book 2 and 3 which I'm just now finishing up editing. Stay tuned. You are right on the money sadly.
