Great article! I honestly don't think the Planet Terra culture or civilization we've developed should continue. The main reasons are that we are not taking care of all the world's children as we should.

We've callously allowed capitalism to spread and to destroy our natural habitat. Elements of humans such as our creativity and ability to express our love for one another are wonderful however, and worth saving. Perhaps being used as another human species evolves or is genetically engineered from elements of our DNA.

I am a science fiction writer and I imagine such a thing happening in my book series, as well as a new civilization that will emerge from the ashes. I am not an optimist however, and I believe that for some reason, elements of competition and conflict will always exist in this particular Universe we've found ourselves in!

My current image for humanity focuses on the Ouroborus, the symbol for eternal cyclic renewal, or a cycle of life, death, and rebirth
