Hi Ryan, I so enjoyed your article - thank you. I've just completed a five book science fiction series on this subject, after extensive research in the area, particularly in various aspects of quantum physics.
I see Sir Frank Gary in the pictures. Frank was the Premier of Grenada and was concerned about UFO's sighted in that area.
I happen to live for three months on the island of Bequia in the Grenadines, and face South looking down the islands to Grenada. I often see UFOs there. So does my husband who isn't really interested in the subject except peripherally - more so in his bees and garden. So do my neighbors and friends. We don't really discuss seeing them because it's a given. We've seen formations and individual craft and they clearly are going to a base somewhere in that area under the sea.
In this case you have a motley group of people who've accepted the existence of something they don't understand, and look on them as you might any aircraft sighting. I think that proves something. We're more than ready to accept them. Not just accept them but realize they have very little to do with our everyday lives. They live theirs and we live ours and its different.
As for being threats - well maybe - as above so below. But Putin and Trump and Xi and McConnell are far greater ones.
None of these sightings however answer the question of what does it mean to be conscious, what is reality, and who or what created it - if anyone or thing did at all.
The interesting question is do they have the answers - I would guess not. They're in this hologram together with us, and also trying to figure it out. In my mind that doesn't change a thing here on Earth. We live and we die and so do they. We are responsible for our planet and our Universe.
That doesn't mean I'm not fascinated to learn more about them. and that's why I imagine who they are in my books. However when I do so its from a completely Anthropocene point of view.
Yes let's meet them, I'm more than ready, and let our writers and philosophers figure out the purpose of consciousness together (if there is one)!
