His election will just facilitate the break up of the Union. California which has the fourth biggest gd p in the world will never follow along like a dog with its tail between its legs. My prediction is that will be the first crack - they will do to him what he has done to the Feds. Defy him at every single point making counter rules.

Then more blue states will join them. Then you'll have a federation of blue states. The army won't get involved because breakaway states will come to an agreement that they'll support our national defense and little else.

The Supreme Court will become an anachronism as will the Constitution which it already is. Needs a rewrite and update in the age of science and technology..

In my mind it's the only peaceful way forward for the US. Create a European Union with each state as an independent entity. I'm fed up with sending my taxes to red states who are destroying our democracy and trying to impose their social and cultural values on the majority of voters this country.

You can't continue to have minority rule of the majority for as long as its been going on here, without some kind of massive change. I'm all for it. Let the chips fall where they may as long as it's done diplomatically and peacefully. Outside of that rewrite the constitution and change the make up of the Supreme Court and protect voting rights.
