I am going to say this till I'm blue in the face. We cannot continue to have a Supreme Court (yes it's now a blatantly political body) a Senate, a President and a House that represents the minority of voters in our population. This is what is wrong with this country.

Minority rule in a so-called democracy. This has to be fixed or we are heading into bleak times for the majority of American voters who are centrists and did not vote for Republicans.

Someone -has to make some political efforts to change this at the Federal level. The power is in the tax base and the economy. It all lies with the blue states.

President Donald Trump carried 2,497 counties across the country that together generate 29% of the American economy, according to a new study by the Brookings Institution. President-elect Joe Biden won 477 counties that together generate 70% of U.S. GDP.

Are the Americans who create 70 percent of our GDP going to continue to accept cultural rules that are established by those that generate only 29 percent?

A political and economic system can only bend so far before it breaks.
