I am thinking less of a constitutional convention but rather of a revolutionary action like the Boston Tea Party. A witholding of federal taxes until the blue state governors get equal and fair representation for their constituents in the federal system of government including the Supreme Court. If they gathered together and developed a manifesto I believe it would work. Perhaps something like a European Union style Federation might emerge. I don’t think our military has any incentive to become involved in domestic affairs. Thus it would require a well thought out proposition that the Democratic Party could put forward outside of the current federal system. At the present time I don’t believe we should be sitting down and allowing a Republican minority to steal our democracy without offering a firm and intelligent response.
