I believe that the Democrats can fundamentally change the nature of minority government in the US if they win the trifecta. Firstly the Supreme Court has absolutely no enforcement capability and that must be made clear to them. In no other country in the world does a non-elected legislative body hold sway over a legislative body that has been elected by the people. The Democrats must thank them for their opinion and then legislate the will of the people. If they hand the election to Trump they must under no circumstances accept this decision. A Democratic Senate and House must stand firm take their seats and legislate Biden into office. Rather than packing the court they need to reform and legislate it's future role in a modern Democracy.

When Roe/Wade is overturned the Democratic Congress must say thank you very much for your opinion but this does not represent the majority of voters in the US. When they overturn it ignore the ruling and legislate it back. Remember the Court has absolutely no enforcement capability they are acting on anachronistic precedent which has no more place in our modern society than a black and white tv.

Secondly they must bring in Statehood for Puerto Rico, DC and split California into two States. That will then give the Dems six new potentiallly Democratic Senators.

They must bring back the voting rights act and make election day a public holiday, putting into place legislation that will allow the majority of people to vote. They must fund schools to talk about the importance of voting and preserving Democracy.

They will have to legislate to overturn all environmental rulings past and present and go ahead full speed with a green economy.

The days of yes and no sir are long gone and thank god for Nancy Pelosi and other progressive democrats since they are well aware of what needs to be done to allow our Democracy to begin to flourish once again.
