I liked your essay until you got to progressives destroying America. Unfortunately then it vered seriously off track in my mind. One of the key sentences in your essay is - through government reforms, it operates under a hybrid mix of communism and socialism that contains a capitalistic element. It’s basically a state-run government that is very active in the free market.

China's strength is in its ability to single mindedly pursue a series of goals and objectives set forth by its leaders without interruption. America's weakness is that it cannot do that because of it's political system. In America individualism has become a religion and so has the greed of its plutocratic classes.

If we had a state run government one of its best tactics would be to bring all production of goods back here in order to provide jobs. In your mind that would be socialism. If this was done the cost of goods would go up, consumerism would go down and the wrecking ball we are taking to the climate would be mitigated. Additionally we would not be financing and supporting China's military growth. We pay for this with the profits China makes from American corporations and the desire of American consumers for cheap goods.

I could write a lot more of my thoughts on this but since none of it will ever happen it's an excercise in futility. America's best bet now is to control space and to have a space fleet that is fully equipped with off-planet technology. We are heading in that direction right now and the weapons that will be used will make current warfare obsolete.
