I’d like to suggest you read The Uninhabitable Earth:Life After Warming. Yes like the person suggested below we’ll be colonizing Antartica in order to survive on Earth. I am all for colonizing other places as well like Europa and Mars, as places where we can also migrate to in order to survive, and I write about that in my science fiction books. We will be living on parts of Earth like we would live on Mars once we’ve finished destroying our planet by continuing to use fossil fuels, but I do believe some of us will survive.

As well as figuring out how to colonize our own solar system, I believe we need to be developing a Dyson Sphere so that once we re-inhabit the surface of our own planet, we’ll have a form of energy in place that won’t kill us.
