I'm genuinely concerned about the changes he has made at the Pentagon. I would not want to see a military which could be used to overturn the legitimate results of a fair election. We do not want to see our military commanders asked to follow the orders of Trump and his toadies in order to ensure he is our next President, against the Constitution and the people's will. Remember Esper's biggest flaw was that he would not order the military out into the streets to quell civil unrest. Do you think the current occupants of that position would not do so in a heartbeat?

It is clear that certain military commanders would refuse to enforce election results that are illegitimate, but others might not. Russia and China would be delighted to see such a thing happen to our democracy, and perhaps that's why they've withheld their endorsement of Joe Biden.

Trump is a cornered animal and extremely dangerous, and I believe he is prepared to do anything to keep him and his family in power, including using the US military if the courts fail.

Remember his role models are all strong men dictators of one kind or another who freely use their command of the military to stay in power.

I feel a continuing sense of dread as things unfold, since I believe we haven't seen the worst of him yet.
