It appears that spiritual growth as opposed to religious belief, is about connecting with our own inner voice and then becoming in tune with the biological life which is all around us. To me it is also about developing a knowledge of science and the quantum world in which we live. This will allow us to further extend our understanding of the greater cosmos, so that we can incorporate much more in our spiritual practices than is currently evident to us in what we refer to as the material world.

Mike Meyers put it well in his article this morning. What often prevents most human beings from embarking on this path is, "the unbridgeable gap between empirically logical science and antiquated religions based on ignorance and myth."

If we are to evolve as spiritul beings and full members of the larger cosmic civilization, we'll have to do a lot more studying of quantum physics, anti-gravity, black holes, white holes, parallel worlds and multi-verses and what I call high strangeness. Most of it we still don't fully understand, but if we manage not to destroy our current civilization through climate change or nuclear war, we eventually will.

Such an understanding and acceptance of cosmology and science will only further deepen healthy, human spiritual practices.
