It's clear that federalism has failed. Republicans have trashed it. They refuse to live with the idea of free and fair elections. The only answer is affiliated, like minded states getting together, and all the States forming something like the EU and NATO with an emphasis on individual states rights.

The Democrats cannot agree to participate in the future in a gerrymandered federal governance system which does not represent them and has blatantly stolen their vote.

Hopefully when that realization hits a break up- will happen peacefully.
