It’s very strange because you and I are thinking along the same lines, but not unusual because you and I often have similar ideas. I do in fact believe that the United States is no longer viable under the current system of Federal government. Why should we the cultural majority suffer from the laws and rules enacted by the minority? I am all for an EU type of situation where the blue states take their economic engine unite and work together, while the red states do the same thing. No reason for our taxes and our economic drivers to keep carrying these regressive conservatives on our backs, while they with hubris dictate our cultural mores and religious beliefs.

A peaceful break up would be the solution. Let everything be governed by a common union of shared values. To hell with the Supreme Court which is made up of a bunch of political appointees who hide behind the so-called Constitution and the law. To hell with the Senate which is unrepresentative and doesn’t serve the needs of the majority of the people anymore.

Follow the example of Scotland and Ireland who will soon leave the UK and work on their own terms with EU. Go Blue States and a Union of Blue States. Somehow I think if this happened there would be massive immigration from the red states to the blue and not vice versa.

We are the economic engines and the drivers of the DisUnited States of America! It’s time to raise our voices and say no more particularly after the sanctuary city ruling which is unacceptable. Mark my words there will be more of that coming - Trump and Barr are dictators and despots.
