I've been considering the idea that democracy really doesn't work in its current form. You can't have people voting who do not understand the implications and responsibilities of government. Perhaps the only way would be to teach history, politics, civics and economics from elementary school onwards.

All students graduating from high school would need to pass an examination before having the privilege to vote in national and local elections.

After all we have to pass one to drive and voting is one of the most important thing we do in our lives. An uneducated public voting is one of the most dangerous ideas in our current society. Would you let a teenager drive without learning to drive or passing a test. I am of the same opinion regarding parenting - classes from elementary school onwards and passing a test. All of this moderated by AI...we're to biased to get it done.
