Noone is saying you shouldn’t be angry Lauren about all the things you list below. In my mind it will take much more than our political system can bear to change all of this however. If Bernie gets elected and the Senate remains Republican nothing will be accomplished except for one more liberal Supreme Court Justice to replace Bader Ginsberg.
Once again I would like to encourage Bernie supporters to focus on the Senate as well as on him, and pick one Republican Senatorial candidate you’d like to be replaced by a Democrat and go for it.
This is as important as voting for Bernie for President. I am hopeful I’ll soon see some workable leadership and strategies from Bernie supporters like you to accomplish this.
My personal goal is to go after Susan Collins. I will be holding fundraisers and going to Maine from CT (a completely blue state) to work on the campaign of Sara Gideon.
If any single one of us make one mistep, one miscalculation, we’ll have Trump back togethr with a Republican House and Senate. Then you’ll really know what anger is and what pain means!
