Okay my theory is that she wants to be a broker as does Bloomberg. It’s clear that Bernie won’t get to 1991 votes needed to win in my mind. This means he gets the first vote, however on the second vote if you’re in the mix you get to broker your delegates. Thus all the candidates moderate and progressive will get to decide who is the best Democratic candidate to beat Trump.

Now a lot of Bernie people will say that isn’t fair. However if the moderate vote equals the progressive vote then it means there is no clear winner. That is why we have a party system set up the way it is. Had the conservatives in GB not put Brexit to the popular vote the country would be in a much better shape than it is now. Had the Republicans not had a winner take all rule they would not be going down in history as hypocritical fools who have hastened the American middle class demise, and perhaps wiped out the species with their environmental, pandemic control and environmental policies. Just some thoughts!

As Plato said so wisely about what is happening today — Democracy degenerates into tyranny where no one has discipline and society exists in chaos. Democracy is taken over by the longing for freedom. Heed this advice from good old Plato my fellow Democrats! We are in the fight of our human lives and we need to play our cards wisely.

Oh and by the way I’m a European style social democrat who believes we should pay more taxes to have a fairer and more generous society!
