Only solution is in localized communities. Grow food the old way, control energy sources and introduce new ones, keep water sources pure and protect everything with guns (a group of hungry humans will do anything to survive).. I am not a gun lover of any kind but a tribal economy is the only one which will survive what's coming. Outside of our violent greedy tendencies the only solution is genetic modification - yes the best traits of our species needs to be preserved in a test tube and mixed with something else.
