Thanks Ken I am just finishing a five book series on all of this…science fiction novels and looking for a suitable publisher. The first was published in 2017 but the press was sold and I kept the rights hoping to publish the whole series once I’d finished it. I will absolutely check out Tom Campbell. It will be next on my reading list after Doris Lessing’s autobiographies. I was amazed how she turned to science fiction at the end of her life so I read Shikasta. I can’t recommend it. If she hadn’t been Lessing it would have been heavily edited. The ideas it contains though are incredible for that particular time, almost like she was channelling.
I so enjoy your articles — really interesting, informative and creative. Love the restaurant at the edge of time. Time is always the key and I address that in one of the books where I try and show it’s maleable through Raphael (David Bohm).
I’m so glad I waited to publish because by the last book I knew where I was going. Here’s an excerpt from the last few lines —
“And what about the darkness that is also always present with us,” she asks Raphael
“All is one,” it explains, “in the duality of consciousness, lies the integration and assimilation of the other.”
“What is purpose?” she asks
It shakes its head “Infinity has no purpose.”
