The problem is the internet/ world wide web. It's algebraic. The formula goes like this. A mass of basically poorly educated people are given access to information which requires a higher than grade school understanding of complex ideas. It's basically like giving high speed cars to a mass of out of control teenagers who can't drive and giving them access to the roads.

The rest of us on those roads end up spending our lives confined to our neighborhoods or living in fear of leaving them. A(internet) plus B (poorly educated masses) equals C (disaster). Somehow the theory of Darwinian evolution and survival hasn't been updated to take the rise of the world wide web into account.

With that added to the evolution equation, I suggest it purports an alternative theory - dominance of the species homo stupidas ( "ie.acess to the internet has made me an expert on everyting"). All leading I'm afraid to extremely rapid homo sapiens extinctas!
