The truth is that conservative interest in women’s reproductive rights has never been about curbing unwanted pregnancies or “life,” but a return to traditional gender roles, and a time when women had no choice about if and when they got pregnant.

Yes you are absolutely right once women control how and when children are born into this world, it will give them the power to make sure it’s done right, and that children are properly taken care of. Something our male cohorts have not done. Hell the female character in my book, like the recent story of the female python who gave birth without male input, does exactly that. She engineers her own children and brings them into a large and loving community of people who support them and her one hundred percent. Now that’s the future I imagine.
