The whole idea of a single family unit is the worst. If we believe we’ll advance as a society and a civilization, an essential understanding of how we decide to have children and how we raise them, needs to change. We are not animals, just because we can have children, doesn’t mean we should have them.

Children belong to our society as a whole and they are the future of our species. To believe that an individual mother and father alone are responsible for the love and care of any child is a type of craziness. There should be no pressure to have or not have a child, parents should just know that their entire community is on hand to support them when they do. Ya we’ve got a long way to go baby, and I doubt we’ll ever get there, based on our individualistic view of how we should live and structure our human societies.
