Unfortunately the idea of the biblical god and christianity has been built on a series of mythologies.

Constantine took many of his ideas from the gospels written a hundred years after the man we call Jesus Christ was alive, and turned them into a political ideology that allowed him to consolidate his power, and the Roman Empire under a mythical, faith-based monotheistic god and his son.

Many years later these same ideas have continued to be adopted and politicized. It’s a sad fact that human beings are much more content to believe in this very simplistic ideology than to explore the true majesty and mystery of the Universe. Sadly too, these people as you’ve so rightly pointed out, use it to push their entirely faith-based beliefs on others and cause untold harm.

I believe we’re involved in a very sophisticated game — let’s call it the Matrix, and our task here is to play it. My words of comfort to you are to read Plotinus, the great Greek philosopher who brilliantly merges religion, ethics and metaphysics.

These people are at 101 in our shared metaphysical school room, which I call quantum reality. While they do untold damage to millions of human beings, a cleansing routine once one comes in contact with them is not to become depressed, but to touch base with Plato, Aristotle, and Plotinus once in a while. You could throw in the Taoist I Ching as well!

Hope this helps! It doesn’t mean we don’t have to be alarmed and try and understand this iteration of human as you’ve so bravely done, it’s that we have to recognize them for what they are, members of the toddler metaphysics and philosophy class.

For some reason I have still yet to determine, we all seem to be lumped together in the same classroom of space and time.
