Unfortunately we live in a patriarchy and that is what is destroying our civilization and our world. I am a science fiction writer and I'm having a wonderful time describing men who are both kind and geniuses. I am also describing brilliant women of all colors and races who are scientists. We aren't there yet, but if we stay around long enough to evolve and don't wipe ourselves out, we will be.

I like Hawking and what he said, “It is not scientific proof of gender equality that is required, but general acceptance that women are at least the equals of men, or better.".

Yes in my books woman scientists prevail ! All being possible as evidenced within the context of my own family, career, relationship with my husband and friends. My daughters are geniuses and so are their daughters.

What arrogant men of all kinds and colors however will leave them and all of us of this planet is yet to be determined. Patriarchy just doesn't; t work under any circumstances when it comes to species survival.
