Well said Jessica! Can I add they clearly want to burn women as witches and also ban contraception as well as marital rape. (And I don't understand why they don't include masturbation in this list since sperm that could be making babies is clearly going to waste).

Unfortunately Alto's hero is a very, very nasty Englishman called Mathew Hale. He had the unique privilege in the sixteen hundreds of sentencing Amy Deny and Ross Calendar to burn at the stake for witchcraft. Actually this case was used as a model for the Salem Witch Trials.

Guess what his jurisprudence rested on - well if there are laws against witches they must exist. Sound a bit dumb a bit Allitoish? This delightful, mysogynistic historical persona also said that a wife "has given herself up unto her husband," so he can do what he wants with her. Sounds a bit Barettish doesn't it - or maybe Kavanaghish? This fabulous marital exception to the law of rape existed in England and Wales until 1991.

Now ladies and gentlemen we have Judge Allito referring to Sir Matthew Hale (a right son of a bitch and that's a nice word I could go the mf route but I won't), in his piece of well you know what I mean, opinion. A man who has caused enduring damage to women for hundreds of years.

A pox on Allito I say and more. Hopefully karma's a screaming, angry bitch. If she is I don't like his prospects do you?
