Well your ideas to save us have tipped into fiction. That's how I deal. I spend my days writing books which imagine how we get past this.

First a huge die off - sorry folks. Humans as individuals aren't worth much if you want to save a whole species of them. We're a bit like ants realy. The ants that have the most will indeed survive. They'll use high tech to do so and build their self-sustaining fortresses filled with genetically engineerd humans and artificial intelligence. Yup I do mean Musk, Putin, Xi, Kim Jong, Bezos and Thiel.

A whole group of people out there who I follow in order to write good fiction, believe extra planetary/inter dimensional humanoids will step in and lead us to the promised land. Not going to happen.

This always brings me to the existensial question of what's the point? Well its taken five books to try and sort it all out. And it's still above my pay grade. Good luck making sense of why we're relevant and human behavior Umair!
