Yes you are right — it will take a worldwide effort to stop what will happen. As a science fiction writer I have been waiting for an intervention of sorts. Meaning some planetary civilization which has found a way to harness the full power of its star sharing that tecnology with us. This is what I imagine happens and write about in my next novels.

I do believe however it won’t occur until some way is found for nations to come together, to eschew capitalism as a worldwide system, finally come to terms with the importance of valuing the planet on which we live, and to accept our true history and the mythology and repressive, misguided elements contained in all formal religions.

One can only hope and dream that we’re one of the lucky planetary species which survives what is to come.
